    The Liceo Ginnasio Emilio De Bono was the secondary school for Italian pupil in Mogadishu and around.
    Emilio De Bono was a Fascist General who guided the Italian Ministry of colonies and for a short time prepared and headed the Italian invasion of Ethiopia from Eritrea. After the Italian return to Somalia in 1950 the secondary school was also open for a few Somali students and if am not wrong the name of Emilio De Bono was deleted and renamed Scuole Secondarie Italiane. The school was considered the best secondary school in the town; nevertheless the percentage of Somali graduates from Italian Universities, compared to those from Somali Secondary Schools, was more or less the same
