    Ilar Bana,
    The Above phtoes, one is yje lighto house of Mogadishio in the front of BAR LIDO, the other one is in the City of MARKA CADDEY. specially in the sea shore, in the area of the MASJID OF AWOO CUSMAAN.

      The light house of Mogadishu is in the hill called Foorta Shiikh “forte Cecchi” next to Villa Somalia and Police headquarters.

    The lighthouse to which Ikar Bana Hadad refers is most probably the “Al Manara”, (15th century)the ancient lighthouse which is still in the “Vecchia Dogana” close to the Lido beaches and in front of the “Campo Amhara” while the modern lighthouse which is shown in the picture was built in Mogadishu by the italians in the early colonial era
