Somalia – Mogadiscio – La tomba di Scek Suffi

Posted in Religion by rickjdavies on 30 January, 2011

Location? Somewhere on the hill that Villa Somalia sits on top of.

On the top left looks like a chimney coming from what was previously a power station in the old centre of town.

Help please !

Somalia – Mogadiscio – Il mercato del pesce

Posted in 1930s, Markets by rickjdavies on 16 January, 2011

Posted 1935. Location unknown. But the building behind on the left looks a bit like the old post office (which was on the corner, near the sea). And the two story white building in the distance, behind the fish market building, looks similar to the building shown in other photos and prints on this website. e.g. https://mogadishuimages.wordpress.com/2008/05/09/5/ and https://mogadishuimages.wordpress.com/2009/06/12/530/

If you can help us find the location of this fish market, please use the Comment facility below.
