The location in Mogadishu, as shown by Google Maps

this is exactly “fisio governo” meaning the the government office or building, the two gates which are there are the entrence and exit “intrata, ushita, with my corrupt italian”, this is not croce della sud (the brave men of the south) hotel as written in the card, but the hotel is the next building on the same line appearing in the picture far ahead. this main building is facing the mogadishu cathedral, and it is at the side of the well known Arba’a Rukun mosque, this building use to be the seat of all minster including the prime minister of the civilian somalia government except the president in the 1960s. it is on one of the two big highway at the time of mogadishu of corso Somalia and corso Lulyo. the photographer is exactly standing at the corner of the building of cinema Hamar and cafe nazionale.
